Carwow’s companions had with them Daniel Pedrosa and his MotoGP KTMs, something that they have taken full advantage of by creating quite a few confrontations in acceleration races. In this case, the competition motorcycle has to face a street relative, the KTM Super Duke R 1290 Evoand even Porsche 911 Turbo S. A good starting grid.

Of course, these are very different vehicles from each other, so there is a lot of interest in knowing how they behave in a direct confrontation and to see which of them is the best… and by how much.

First of all, and as usual, we are going to analyze what each of the members offers.

We start with the Porsche, which is the furthest from its rivals. It is the wildest variant of the Porsche 911, a version that mounts a 3.8 biturbo six-cylinder block with an output of 650 hp and 800 Nm of maximum torque. Needless to say, he is the most powerful participant of the trio, but he is also the heaviest: 1,640 kilos.

The Super Duke R 1290 Evo It is a radical street bike that mounts a 1.3 V-Twin engine that develops 185 CV and 140 Nm to move its 250 kilos with ease. A priori he is the one who has everything to lose in the different tests.

MotoGP Bike v Porsche 911 Turbo S v KTM Road Bike: DRAG RACE

We have left the bike for last MotoGP, equipped with a 1.0 V4 engine that reaches 270 hp and 120 Nm. In addition, being for competition, it uses light materials that allow it to weigh only 200 kilos.

Each one has its strengths and weaknesses, but they have to demonstrate them in the usual series of tests: several drag races from a standstill, an acceleration race with a thrown start and a braking test that is very interesting. Who are you betting on?
