Santa Marta continues to consolidate itself as the city of sporting events in the Caribbean, thanks to the support and backing of the Government
Santa Marta continues to consolidate itself as the city of sporting events in the Caribbean, thanks to the support and backing of the Government and the Mayor’s Office for these activities.
On this occasion, the city was chosen for the National Children’s and Junior Boxing Championship, which has the participation of 16 boxing leagues in the country and 174 athletes.
It has the participation of the departments of: Tolima, Valle, Magdalena, Cundinamarca, Caldas, Risaralda, Nariño, Santander, Meta, Atlántico, Arauca, Córdoba, Casanare and Cesar. The championship takes place in the men’s and women’s categories.
The championship began on September 20 with the technical congress and ends on September 27.
Samarians are invited to enjoy this sporting event, which takes place at the South Sports Center Coliseum and has free access.
The hours to see the different competitions are from 4:00 pm until the 27th.
