CANCUN, Q. ROO.- The women’s flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko will try to ‘clean up’ her division when she faces Taila Santos, in the co-main event of UFC 275, in Singapore. The fighter from Kyrgyzstan has beaten the Top 5 in the ranking in the last two years and only has to face the Brazilian, before looking at new opponents who are below fifth place.

Shevchenko has eight straight wins and seven defenses of his mixed martial arts belt. The Peruvian naturalized has not lost inside the octagon since 2017, when she faced Amanda Nunes in another weight class.

During his seven fights for the title ‘Bullet’ he has won three by decision and four by knockout, his last two rivals were Jessica Andrade and Lauren Murphy, the first did not pass the second round and the second survived until the fourth round.
