Monterrey.- The State Government continues to suspend activities of establishments for not complying with the regulations due to the drought in Nuevo León.

On this occasion it was a Golf Club, located in the municipality of Apodaca, to which seals were placed to suspend activities.

Through social networks, Governor Samuel García reported that it was since July 19 when these seals were placed and that it was done because he was allegedly retaining water irregularly.

In the shared photographs it can be seen that the case bears Folio 219 of the case that is carried out in the State Environmental Attorney’s Office.

“On Tuesday we closed a Golf Club in Apodaca because it was illegally holding water and because it was contaminating our land,” he wrote in the publication in which he shared photos.

“If we are all doing the impossible to take care of the water, we are not going to allow others to continue being clever”
This Golf Club joins ranches, slaughterhouses and other establishments that have been suspended for misuse, retention or for having illegal water wells.
