Talor Gooch debuts his winning tally at the PGA


The American Talor Gooch claimed his first PGA Tour golf title on Sunday by winning The RSM Classic tournament, played since Thursday at the Sea Island club (Georgia, USA). Gooch, 30, finished the tournament with 260 total hits (22 under par) and four rounds of 64, 65, 67 and 64. He has needed 104 tournaments on the circuit to seal his first title.

He beat Canadian Mackenzie Hughes at the end by three hits, who on the last day rallied to second place with a closing round of 62 (-8), and in four to the Colombian Sebastián Muñoz, who on Thursday was the first leader with a 60 and who this Sunday finished with 65 (-5).
