American teenager Lucy Li birdied six of the last 11 holes to finish with a 4-for-67 scoreline and take a one-hit lead after the third round on Saturday at the LPGA Dana Open.

The 19-year-old of Chinese origin completed a card with 199 strokes (-14) in 54 holes at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio.

Li, who played at the US Women’s Open as an 11-year-old, finished the round with a one-shot lead over compatriot Lexi Thompson and Germany’s Caroline Masson.

The Mexican Gaby López and the Spanish Carlota Ciganda finished the day tied for eleventh place with 203 hits (-10) each.

The also Iberian Azahara Muñoz and the Aztec María Fassi concluded in positions 46 and 68 with 209 (-4) and 2012 (-1) hits, respectively.
