Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, a preferred destination for the most demanding travelers and one of the main luxury golf experiences in the Caribbean, made it into the Top-20 of the list of the Best Golf Courses in the World by Golf Digest magazine in 2022 , with the design of Teeth of the Dog, the masterpiece designed by Pete Dye.

With internationally rated courses outside the United States, Teeth of the Dog joins some of the best layouts in the game on a prestigious list that includes Northern Ireland’s Royal County Down and Royal Portrush, as well as The Old Course at St Andrews and Muirfield. in Scotland.

Teeth of the Dog is the highest rated course in both the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean, hosting major events such as the Latin American Amateur Championship in recent years, among others.

The hallmarks of Dye’s design are all present: vast bunkers, peninsula greens and tees, hand-sculpted putting surfaces and a unique variety of pot bunkers. The oceanfront holes are stunningly beautiful, prompting Dye to joke, “I created 11 holes, and God created seven.”
