The UFC is one of the most important mixed martial arts companies in the world and since its creation in the 90’s it has had several of the biggest stars in the world of professional combat.

Here are the top 5 fighters of all time in the UFC Octagon.

Without much discussion, Johnson is the best featherweight fighter in the history of the UFC and perhaps in the world of mixed martial arts. He went 27-3 before leaving the company and joining ONE. Between 2012 and 2017 he made 11 championship defenses.

Since his debut in 2012, Nurmagomedov has proven to be a fighter like no other in the UFC, climbing the ranks from Lightweight and dominating on a very different level than his rivals. He never knew defeat in the company, retiring 29-0 undefeated, an unprecedented mark.

If there is one name that commands respect in the UFC world it is Anderson Silva, who was seen as the best fighter in the company for almost six years of dominance at Middleweight. Although his record (34-11) ended up affected by several losses in the closing of his career, “The Spider” is a legend.

“Bones” Jones is recognized as the best Light Heavyweight fighter the UFC has ever seen, as well as being one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in history. He finished his career with the company 26-1-1, after 13 defenses as a champion. He left the UFC due to differences with Dana White.

Perhaps there hasn’t been a more dominant figure in the world of mixed arts than St-Pierre, who left a remarkable legacy at Welterweight. He dominated his class as a champion for six years and was even a Middleweight champion before retiring with a 26-2 record due to health issues.
