is a clear reference for all boxing fans. A man who has made history and has won the hearts of thousands of people around the world. A name that still echoes, and with which we do not get tired of repeatedly seeing him fight. A great inspiration in sports, for which he received all the applause.

However, boxing was not his only love. Beyond the ring, which we know involves sweat, blood, hours in the gym and a lot of courage, the legend also hid a great passion. Ali was a great fan of motors and his culture. He spent many hours of leisure to indulge in all the most extravagant luxuries that came to mind.

The 60’s and 70’s were his glory days. There he gave himself the pleasure of having an enviable collection that stole all eyes. Cars with exclusive designs, which required a good bundle of bills. However, there was one jewel in his display case that stood out to everyone. It was his beautiful S220.

A classic model of the German brand that had a front engine and a power of 100 CV, a car ahead of its time. However, this did not reach the boxer and he decided to make this vehicle a unique copy. Without a doubt it was, it became a work of art worthy of admiration. A car typical of a museum where we can see in Ali not only one of the greatest exponents of boxing, but also a great lover of motorsports.

This car had the peculiarity of having 270 precious stones, among which were rubies, diamonds, sapphires and emeralds. Also, inside it was covered with 23 carat gold. What a toy! As if this were not enough, the car has a six-cylinder engine, a four-speed manual transmission and only 31,965 km traveled. Currently, we can appreciate this relic in a dealership in Manteca (California, USA) as a museum on wheels.
