The young concordian, Mia Yaya, struck a great blow during the XIII edition of the Latin American Golf Championship that began on November 1 in the Dominican Republic, by establishing herself as champion in the “Ladies” category at only 12 years old, an unprecedented fact in this type of tournaments since the youngest champion registered so far was 25 years old.

Mia had already become the youngest woman to qualify for the Latin American competition held at the Bávaro Iberostar Golf Club in the Dominican Republic, a course that is part of the PGA, the most important professional golf circuit in the United States.

It should be remembered that Mía Yaya and Federico Carbonara are the two concordians that make up the Argentine team present at the XXIII Latin American Championship that began to be played on November 1 and will end this Saturday, November 6 at the Iberostar Golf Club in Punta Cana, in the Republic Dominican.
