The celebration of the South Zone Cup in Veracruz, organized by the , brought many additional satisfactions to the boys’ victory. At the end of the event, Sandoval (President) and José Manuel González (President of the National Youth Children’s Council) gave several surprises.

But let’s go by parts, the local Juan Manuel Martínez came from behind and with scores of 73-72-71 he took the victory in the stellar category, leaving Patricio Garza and José Antonio Safa behind in great competition. Meanwhile, Clarisa Temelo from Querétaro defeated the powerful Daniela Abonce from Veracruz, who was the leader of the competition and also Vania Simón from the Valley of Mexico. Clarisa, who started with 74 and 69 shots, closed with 71 shots and took home the win.

The winners were also Miren Ontañón in 15 and under, Sofía López in 12-13, Regina Maldonado in 8-9 as well as Valentina León in 7 and under. For the men Miguel Anaya won the 15 and under, Patricio Safa 12-13, Leonardo López 10-11, Sergio Simón 8-9 as well as Emiliano Becerril the 7 and under.

In addition, and as WE ARE ALL FEDERATION, Fernando Lemmen Meyer and José Manuel González announced a great achievement, an important alliance with the José Miguel Professional Golf Circuit and commanded by the professional Alejandro Quiroz, therefore Manuel Barbachano, leader of the amateur ranking at Last January 31 and Juan Manuel Martínez (winner in the South Zone Cup), will participate in the “Campanario” stage of the professional golf tour, representing a great achievement and blanking for both. It should also be noted that the first places in the South Zone Cup will receive an invitation to compete in different international events sanctioned by the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA).

Players will be able to access the following tournaments: Rolex Girls Junior Championship for 1st and 2nd place in the women’s branch 18 and under; Wyndham Invitational at Sedgefield, 1st and 2nd place men’s 18 and under; Visit Tallahassee Junior All Star, 1st place in the women’s and men’s branches 15 and under; FCG Odyssey Junior Championship, 1st and 2nd place in the women’s and men’s division 7 and under, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 15 and under; Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (Tournament to be confirmed), 1st and 2nd place in the women’s and men’s divisions 12-13, 15 and under; and Southern Junior Championship, 3rd. place of the men’s branch 18 and under.
