Starting today, special days will begin on the Palihue Golf Club course, with the start of the activities of the 41st of the North Patagonian Open that will take place in our city.

The Senior Tournament will start at 8:40, under the 18-hole medal play modality. Today the first round will be played and tomorrow, also between 8:40 and 16, the second.

To arrive with the golf course in excellent condition, worked intensely during the last days, after the storm that hit our city and the region last Thursday.

The one that begins today will be a part of the preliminary to the Open, which will be played from Thursday 7 to Sunday 10 and will receive amateurs and professionals from all over the country who will seek to write their name in the history of this traditional contest.

“It is the most important event that the club has every year”

The “Norpa” celebrates its 41st edition this year and is one of the five Argentine Regional Championships of the Argentine Golf Association, the body in charge of control.

In addition, this event awards points for the National and World Amateur Ranking and is part of the PGA Tour Latin America Development series.

But to get to the main course, the Club will experience other days of intense activity.

After the Senior, the agenda will continue from Friday 1 to Sunday 3, with the tournament for fans with a handicap greater than 2.5.

It will be played until Sunday the 3rd, with 54 holes under the medal play modality.

Every day, the action will start at 7:18 a.m. and continue until 7:00 p.m.

This year, in addition, they will be played on a separate course, rounds of 9 holes, in homage to Eduardo “Gato” Romero, who passed away on February 13 and who was North Patagonian champion in 1992.
