ZACATECAS. The Old School has become a promoter of amateur boxing in Zacatecas and has resumed its activities at the Alma Obrera Sports Center, with all health protocols.

After a pause at the beginning of this 2022, they returned to activities thanks to the permission granted by the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (Cofepris).

Within the measures, a reduction in capacity was given, to groups of 15 people, in the classes that are taught from Monday to Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., so that the possibility of opening a class can be given morning.

Those who want to be part of La Vieja Escuela must have a taste for boxing, willingness to learn, positive attitude and meet some specifications such as the mandatory use of face masks, a pair of bandages, training clothes and gloves or gauntlets.

The classes are led by instructor Diego Martínez and assistant David Escobar, who share their knowledge of boxing with each of the students.

The cost of the monthly payment is 400 pesos as a recovery fee so that this boxing school continues to be maintained in one of the popular neighborhoods such as Alma Obrera.
