Roberto “the Duck” Abbondanzieri settled in his countryside located in the town of Bouquet, province of Santa Fe, his hometown with just 1,500 inhabitants, where it is dedicated to the activity agricultural. Days ago, he even acquired a combine harvester to provide services to third parties.

The duck left football in 2010, was linked to the sector agricultural since childhood, his dad I worked with a family of contractors and during campaigns agricultural I was traveling to North and the south from the country.

“I grew up on top of the machines, on the harvesters. It was always my illusion to have one, my dad would be here with me all day”.

“My uncle was pounding me between two trees that we had in the field. I really liked getting muddy and throwing myself to the ground.”

“It is a loneliness, an enormous tranquility. I could not spend 15 days in Buenos Aires. Boca always played on Sundays and the next day I went to the field. It used to unplug me and gave me batteries to return to training on Tuesdays.”
