Falcao García and Cristiano Ronaldo crossed paths and greeted each other many times on a pitch, when the Colombian was a member of Atlético de Madrid and the Portuguese was a figure in their backyard rival: Real Madrid.
Then both took very different paths in their careers and today, years later, they crossed paths again, this time in an international friendly played at Old Trafford, Manchester’s stadium.
Falcao did it with the white shirt and red band of Rayo Vallecano, while Cristiano appeared with the red of United, which has been his team since the previous season.
The greeting was respectful between two great players and in the end the match ended 1-1. Neither of the two, consummate scorers, was present on the scoreboard.
