The state boxing team returns loaded with medals

The Morelos representative won nine medals at the Olympic Boxing Festival; two gold, five silver and two bronze was the balance of the boxers who competed in the sixth edition of the contest.

Of the 15 boxers of the entity that participated in the Olympic Festival, nine managed to get on the podium in the Mexican Olympic Committee. More than 550 boxers from 30 states of the Mexican Republic competed, from the junior to elite categories.

Tabata Morales and Víctor Hugo Nepomuceno won first place in the 57 and 52 kilograms, respectively.

The silver medalists were: Ana Luisa Guerrero (54 kg.), Johan González (bantamweight 54 kg.), José de Jesús Carvajal (92 kg.), Emiliano Olivares (60 kg.) and Luz Adriana Cañedo (52 kg. ).

Diego Jiménez (60 kg.) and Guadalupe Luna (57 kg.) won the bronze medal.

The state boxing team is now preparing to compete in the 2022 Conade National Games.

This discipline will take place in Mazatlan, from June 21 to 28.

The boxers who will compete in the Conade National Games are: Leonardo Díaz (50 Kg.), Víctor Hugo Nepomuceno (52 Kg.), Diego Jiménez (60 Kg.), Emiliano Marino (73 Kg.), José María Carbajal (Up to 80 Kg.), Oswaldo Gama (+80 Kg.), Carlos Hernández (60 Kg.), Jahir Ruiz (75 Kg.), Valentina Perches (48-51 Kg.) and Tabata Morales (54-57 Kg.)
