Seeks. Welcoming more vulnerable people
The administrative minister of the Presidency, José Ignacio Paliza, gave RD $ 20 million to the San Antonio María Claret Home for the Elderly to expand and renovate the infrastructure of the center that welcomes hundreds of elderly people in Puerto Plata.
The official delivered the funds in a meeting with representatives of the Board of Trustees that coordinates that center, in response to commitments made by President Luis Abinader. Monsignor Julio César Corniel Amaro, bishop of the Diocese of Puerto Plata, blessed the act.
The resources provided will be used to renovate some of its areas, explained architect Lisa Brugal.
Paliza added that “we are promoting the changes we promised and this type of contribution allows us to collaborate with the fate of the San Antonio María Claret Nursing Home.”
Fernando Ortega Brugal thanked the support.
