This week is celebrated in Pumpkin Ridge of Portland the second test of LIV Golf Invitational Series. An appointment that distributes no less than 25 million dollars in prizes, 20 for the general classification of the tournament and five for the three best-ranked teams.

Let us remember that each of these series involves 48 players divided into 12 teams that are chosen before the tournament in a ‘draft’ and that only three rounds are played, with all the golfers competing on the course at the same time. There is no court, so all participants will receive a financial prize.

For the first classified the check will be no less than four million dollars. Second place will win $2,125,000. While for the third the prize will be 1,500,000 dollars. The last of the 48 participants will receive a check for $120,000.

The best team in the tournament will win three million to be distributed among its members. The second best team, 1.5 million. And for the third there will be 500,000 dollars. A rain of millions that some of the stars of the PGA Tours they didn’t want to miss out even if they were forced to give up their US Circuit membership. This week Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Reed, Carlos Ortiz and Abraham Ancer made their debut in Oregon.

These LIV Golf Invitational Series they do not distribute points for the world golf ranking, although they will have their own general classification that will distribute more money after the first seven events: 18 million for the first classified, eight for the second and four for the third (among all those who have played at least four tournaments).

There will be an eighth and final event that will be played by teams and that will distribute 50 million dollars: between 16 million for the winning team and one million for the last classified. Below we detail how the 20 million individual classification of the first London series that starts this Thursday is distributed.
