María Fernanda Martínez, María José Martínez and , will represent the at the XVI South American Amateur Open, which will be held from January 12 to 15, at the Quito Tennis and Golf Club field in Ecuador.

The South American Amateur Open, organized by the South American Golf Federation, the Ecuadorian Golf Federation, brings together the best amateur golfers in the region, according to the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Therefore, it gives the players: blank and experience.

“We can find a fairly complete field. The blank of the Mexicans is very significant, here you have a good comparison line to see how their level is in terms of Latin America; and, from there, make projections and see how we can work forward. It is a super tournament to be able to measure the Mexicans in terms of their level with the rest of the region, “said coach José López.

In this edition of the Open, 92 players will compete, from 14 countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Venezuela.
