URUAPAN, Mich., September 3, 2022.- Fights with moments of great intensity and emotion, took place in the new auditorium of the “Hermanos López Rayón” sports unit. It was one of the main events of the Fiestas Patrias program, promoted by the government chaired by Ignacio Campos Equihua.

In a statement it was reported that the main event was won by majority decision, Jonathan “Titán” Rodríguez, from San Luis Potosí, against Juan Daniel “Tubo” Ramírez, from Mexico City (Cdmx). In one of the most anticipated fights by the local fans, Víctor Hugo “Bennis” Vázquez, from the Ramón Farías neighborhood, successfully debuted in professional boxing, defeating José “Chino” Linares by split decision.

While the Cuban Feliciano Hernández, who was an amateur world champion, clearly dominated and won by technical knockout in the seventh round, Juan “Maníaco” Sánchez from Guadalajara, Jalisco. In turn, Francisco “Panchito” Piña, from Cdmx, showed his power and sent Óscar Hernández, from Guadalajara, Jalisco, to the canvas in the third episode.

While one of the most intense fights of the boxing evening, it was the one starred by Raymudo “Ray” Rojas, from Cuernavaca Morelos, who defeated Óscar Moreno, from Cdmx, among other contests by unanimous decision.
