Scholarships to Manuel Barbachano and Ariel González
Two of the young talents of the peninsular golf are ready for the next step in the sport and professional studies.
In recent days, among a large number of prospects signed to receive scholarships from the main universities in the United States, Manuel Barbachano Lascuraín and Ariel González Arceo appeared, both made golfers at the Yucatán Country Club.
Manuel, son of Pablo Barbachano Herrero and Gabriela Lascuraín Laviada, signed his agreement to enter George Washington University for the 2022-2026 cycle. 18-year-old Manuel was recently playing in the previous qualifiers of the PGA Tour de Mayakoba.
In Ariel’s case, the 18-year-old will be in the Huskers group at the University of Nebraska. She is the daughter of Hugo González and Mercedes Arceo.
The two scholarship recipients have been playing golf for more than a decade, starting practically since they left kindergarten.
