Fury confirmed his retirement from professional boxing and affirms, together with the African MMA fighter, that they will face each other very soon. However, Francis is recovering from his knee operation and has a contract until 2023, factors that keep this show from taking place.
For their part, at the time of the announcement they commented “They see us, we are in great shape” Then anxious about the future confrontation, they said “This will be a very special fight, something never seen before. It will be explosive when this happens.”
