This rare 2001 mechanic powered British American Racing (BAR)-Honda and Jordan is an original Formula 1 World Championship piece currently looking for a buyer.

Originally designed by Honda to compete in the 1989 and 1990 Formula 1 World Championship seasons, and revamped for use between 2000 and 2005, the RA series of 3.5 and 3.0 liter competition engines naturally aspirated were very successful. These same building blocks propelled McLaren to Constructors’ Championship victories in 1989 and 1990, before doing so in the BAR-Honda and Jordan in 2001.

The engine in question is a Honda RA001E 3.0-Liter V10 F1 which produces some 830 hp of power at 17,900 rpm. It has an electro-hydraulic acceleration system and a cylinder angle of 80 degrees, as well as a weight of 98 kilos, four valves per cylinder with a pneumatic valve system, a bore of 95 mm and a stroke of 42.3 mm.
