Then, he admitted that facing Laurel is a challenge, because the Filipino has reaped records and medals; However, that will not stop the determination of the boxer who will represent Oaxaca in the city of León, Guanajuato, as he is sure of winning the victory.

For the fight, the preparation has been strict, he says, as he has trained for just that goal for two months with discipline and with the necessary strategy to learn how to attack his opponent, a left-handed fighter.

Even without the support of any of the government orders, Sergio Chirino Jr has represented Oaxaca and Mexico in various sports events at the national and international level.

Thus, before starting his path in professional , Sergio collected medals in the national Olympics from 2008 to 2014, first-rate championships from 2013 to 2016.

He also obtained silver in the continental championship in Santiago de Chile, bronze in Central American Games and bronze in the Dominican Republic and 8 fights in the World Series of Boxing (WSB), after the medals, he said he was proud to represent Oaxaca.
