The boxing school “Legendarios” in Puente de Ixtla continues with its training on a regular basis and now seeks to help young people living on the streets or who have addiction problems. This was expressed by Antonio García Valdez, professional boxing coach in Morelos.

“What we try to do at school is to give back how much people have given us and we want to help young people who are going through some street situation or who have problems with addictions, all this so that they focus on sports and put aside the addictions and why not? take out a champion from Morelos ”, he pointed out.

The coach stressed that the classes will be taught for free on Saturdays and Sundays at the Plazuela del Maestro in Puente de Ixtla. “What we are going to do is look to the private sector and the government or whoever is interested in supporting this noble cause. The doors are open for them to help us, either with monetary or in-kind support, ”said Antonio García.

The teacher said that young people must be kept away from addictions and focused on sports. “Not only in Puente de Ixtla, the truth is that we try to make this happen in all the municipalities of the state. We also invite the coaches who want to join this project to do so in their locality and with this we can contribute to end so much violence in the state. ”

“I thank La Unión de Morelos for providing us with this space and for keeping an eye on the sport of Morelos. We must look for the talent of young people who are lost and encourage them to be excellent professional athletes at the national level ”, concluded Antonio García.
